Art and Technology Intersect, Creating World’s Thinnest Laptop

At the New York Times International Luxury Conference earlier this month, HP Inc. raised the bar for the premium PC experience; unveiling the world’s thinnest laptop. It’s clear that the new HP Spectre was not only designed with engineering and performance in mind, but beauty and craftsmanship as well.

The sleek, black and copper notebook features a full HD 13.3″ edge-to-edge display and is as thin as a AAA-battery; which begs the question, does its super-thin profile mean thin computing power? Not according to HP’s Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Personal Systems, Kevin Frost, who said, “unlike the majority of other super thin PCs on the market, this laptop doesn’t compromise power or features.” In fact, while many other laptops in its class use mobile processors, the HP Spectre features Intel Core i5 and i7 processors to deliver powerful performance.

During the design of the Spectre, HP reimagined the laptop as we know it to provide the best user experience and maximum performance; adding an innovative hybrid battery for 9.5 hours of battery life, next-gen USB Type-C ports, and high-end Bang & Olufsen speakers.  For consumers seeking a notebook that doesn’t compromise on style, convenience or function; the HP Spectre is an appealing choice.
